Competitions

The cards are now in the clubroom at the range awaiting your collection. They are in a box on the rifle rack to the left, just past the window. See attached below.

The shoot-by dates are in the table below and you can shoot as far ahead as you want - it's a good idea to have a few rounds done well before the shoot-by date. When shot and signed get the duty officer to witness and date the cards and then place them in the other box in the clubroom where they can be collected for scoring.

For the two of you doing Dewar, please remember that both 50's and 100's need to be shot on the same date.

Most everyone is shooting in TSA competitions as well and these are concurrent with the ORA cards. I'll sort the stickers out shortly, so don't bother waiting for them to appear!

If any of you have a difficulty keeping to a shoot-by date then please contact either myself of Frank and we can see about a extension for you.

Good shooting to all and a Happy Easter,

Richard

As a Club we enter teams into the Oxfordshire Leagues and into the Civil Service Leagues which run for both the Winter and Summer seasons.  Competitions can be for pairs or individuals as well as teams.

We also enter teams into the ORA County Summer Shoot over distances of 50 meters and 100 yards.

The club also runs it's own internal competitions.

All smallbore shooting is conducted in "classes" so that you only compete against another competitor or team of equal standard.

As a club we also encourage members to participate in "Open Meetings" run by other organisations or clubs.
